The art of Red Lipstick.....

Katelen over at "The Poetic Artist" had posted pictures of her 85 year old mother and a tube of red lipstick. I was hooked on the beauty of her putting on that red lipstick and asked her if I could paint her. Here is the painting that was inspired by that sweet blog. She is beautiful.....

  2. You know I am almost tempted to paint it too. I hope you don't mind if I give it a stab? Of course I won't be able to do what you do, but perhaps my version. What do you think?

  7. Ha! You indeed have a WalMart guy. What is it about WalMart and weird people? And what does that say about me since I shop there too? I need to spend a couple of hours just sitting on a bench in WalMart with a sketch pad so I can get lots of face ideas. I've never heard of the Blue People. BTW- love your lady with the red lipstick.
